Well my friends, by popular request I have moved into the home for BodyTalk Sessions. My office hours are therefore more flexible. Please feel free to call me and we will set up a time that works for you and me! I have a glorious studio space that is heated by gas stove and feels cozy and warm. It is naturally lit by giant windows and a skylight. It is a very relaxing place to balance out. Look for upcoming changes on my site.

Weeding onions at the Whole Circle Farm
Yesterday, I traveled to the farm that grows our food. At the beginning of the spring, my household bought a food share from Whole Circle Farm. Now that vegetables are ready to be harvested, we pick up our weekly share from a drop off location of the Unitarian Congregation parking lot. We meet one of the farmers, and the other folks eating the same food as we are.
There is a natural sense of security when you know where your food comes form. So along with a few friends, I went out to meet the farm! and weed the onions! We saw a brand new calf born just that morning.
To me, food tastes better the closer it grows. If I can get my hands dirty in the process of helping my food to grow, I feel love and gratitude for everything. What an amazing feeling!
Be a part of your food chain…

Post watering strength
Water is essential on so many levels, that it is difficult to decide which aspects to address first. I plan to address the issue of water and our health in a four-part series. Each entry will have a different centre focus: Human-centerd, Earth-centerd, Ecosystem-centered and Spirit-centered.
Today I begin with the Human-centered perspectives. There are many places on-line that can tell you how much water to drink, that your body is made up of mostly water, and it is essential to living. In fact I have attached these ideas to the bottom of this entry because it is important. Just because we know it, doesn’t mean we all drink our basic needs in water, and I would argue that many people in Canada are dehydrated even though water is readily available.
What stops us? Most of us don’t need to walk to a well to get our water; we get drinkable water right in our kitchens, office coolers, or even convenience stores. Make/Take time to drink water, juice, herbal tea. Get some liquid in you so you can be a happier, younger-feeling person. Take any role you play, add some water and it will be easier.

The droopy sad pansies after 2 days without water. Tomorrow I'll post a photo to show how their perspective on life changes with a glass of water.
Water is a great grounding tool. I mean if you are confused, angry, frustrated, cranky, drink some water. It doesn’t cure everything, but it does make most things easier to cope with. You can see this in plants. I have some potted pansies outside my door, on days without water they shrivel and droop. With a little water, the next day they are standing tall and absorbing the sunshine. So drink some water and stand tall.
I am thrilled to have extended the possibilities of BodyTalk Guelph to support you in reaching your optimal performance.
I returned form my training with Kerry D’Ambrigio, a doctor of osteopathic medicine, an acupuncturist, and a physical therapist, I am increasingly excited by the possibilities.
Imagine you could…
- identify where your challenges in performance lie and overcome them.
- unlock the secret to you limitations, and overcome them.
- figure out exactly what your body wants, and provide it with its needs.

When the natural anxiety is experienced, it can pass and we have limited recollection of it. However, our bodies store memories of specific events and emotions.
Do you notice that sometimes the pain in a shoulder or knee returns without a physical trigger? It may be that your body recognized a similar environment to the original injury and reacted as it needed to the first time. This is an active memory.
Another example is the feeling anxiety of public speaking. Even when you simply think about public speaking, you can actually feel the butterflies in your stomach, your palms sweating, etc. This is an active memory.
In the BodyTalk System, active memories can be identified and released from their storage in various locations, which can be the root of significant health issues in the future. They are tapped out using specific hand positions and eye movements. The memories shift to passive memories. Now you can remember how painful the broken leg was, or the how terrible that speech was, without actually feeling it in your body.
